Verallia, the world’s third largest producer of glass packaging for food and beverages, entrusted bet365下载 to design and supply an all-electric furnace capable of producing high-quality glass bottles in its Cognac plant. It is the first electric furnace for Verallia and is the largest all-electric furnace for food packaging in the world. The new furnace is in line with Verallia's decarbonization commitment to halve its carbon emissions.
bet365下载 was also entrusted to provide a hybrid furnace to O-I, a leading glass bottle manufacturer. The furnace will be installed at O-I's Veauche plant in France and will be 70% electric-fired with the remainder fired from combustion. The new hybrid furnace will drastically decrease CO2 emissions and increase flexibility for the plant.
